Review - Cracked 2.0
Cracked has been dubbed as Europe’s most extreme attraction, and it certainly lived up to its name. Once acquiring a ticket to Cracked you are invited to a secret facebook group, here is where the whole experience starts. The facebook ‘pre show’ if you will, played with our emotions and our thoughts. Questions were asked on a daily basis and we MUST answer, being non-compliant would infuriate Blake and no one wanted to do that.
The six hour long endurance experience was fast approaching, and with more sickening questions from the attractions lead character Blake, it all became very real. The waiver was signed and 24 hours before our test would begin, we were sent a postcode for our pick up point. Three months build up had reached its climax.
The first scene genuinely threw our team of ‘subjects’ into the deep end. The Sergeant and his team arrived with huge explosions and gave direct orders. Then started the endurance tests. Over the next 2 hours we were subject to cable ties, duct tape, bags over heads, body crawls, squats and that’s just the half of it. The Sergeant and his team stopped at nothing to ensure our bodies were pushed to their max and we were all worn down.
Then began the games, 6 games in total. Although we cannot give spoilers, let’s just say you need a strong stomach, you can’t be scared of creepy crawlies and you must have a strong mind. Each game had its own unique elements to test you physically and mentally. In between games we endured mini tests alone as well as enduring more of the Sergeants physical endurance tests.
This reviewer begrudgingly said the safe word at 3 hours 25 minutes. And was closely followed by 3 more subjects. All of us realised our stomachs weren’t as strong as we had hoped. We lost a subject earlier in the night but 3 warriors manged to not Crack and endured 6 long hours of physiological, challenging entertainment.
Cracked survival experience is like no other attraction or event we have visited. This reviewer classes himself as someone who finds ‘extreme’ scare attractions a walk in the park, yet the safe word was said for the first time ever. Although Cracked Survival Experience lets you live a horror film, we wouldn’t quite class is as a Scare Attraction as such. More an extreme experience, a totally different genre of entertainment. That being said, we enjoyed (yet hated) Cracked for all the right reasons, fantastic location, amazing actors and a well thought out story line. A huge congratulations to the PUP team for truly delivering Europe’s most extreme attraction.

Having experienced many haunts in various countries, I was looking to go a few steps further. Cracked turned out to be a giant leap. Physically, emotionally and mentally demanding, it really is like living your own horror film.
At the outset, participants are provided with a safe word for when they've reached their limit so the game from then on in is to try not to crack.
The team underwent a series of dark trials and tests, each one a little harder, scarier and (way more) disgusting than the one before. The sense of the unknown is both the scariest and most exciting aspect so I won't give any particulars away, suffice to say I literally met a phobia head on (and defeated it), got very close to having a panic attack, and then laughed uncontrollably for about 10 minutes. It's a grueling yet rewarding experience as you discover just what you are capable of. While I wouldn't say it was a bucket of laughs, the sicko in me really enjoyed it.
The team involved in Cracked, especially our ringleader, Blake, and The Sarge, do their jobs brilliantly, unluckily for us (!) as at times I was pushed very close to cracking.
I shocked myself by not cracking by the end of the five and a half hour experience and also somehow winning the game aspect. I went back to my hotel not being able to wipe the smile, or the slime, or the smell, off my face.
If you're looking for the next level in fear entertainment, Cracked is pretty much unbeatable. The only reason I wouldn't enter again would be my fear that they might make me crack second time around!

Cracked 2.0 is like walking into your own personal hell with games that are designed to test you mentally and physically. Blake Ciccone, the mastermind behind Cracked, knows how to break you down and will be your own personal demon for that night. Cracked is everything it says it is and more, only the strong survive. Could you?

Terrifying - I put terrifying, but its not like any fear i have had at any event.
Its not like any event/experience ive been to thats why. On the night i was telling myself "im never doing this again" and "i cant take no more". After 3 hours 35 mins my body and brain couldnt take no more and i CRACKED. The next day tho looking back on the event i actually really enjoyed it and i will definitely be returning bext year. Theres something strangely enjoyable about walking down a normal road/lane then having your world turned upside down before u know it.
For months before the night Blake was in our heads asking all sorts of questions and getting to know us more than we would like and even now, weeks after the event he is still in my head. Drawing me in and all i can think about is beating him next year.
To sum it up, if you like pushing yourself to new limits and feeling uncomfortable then this is the event for u. But dont put it off, i would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the next step in horror attractions
