Cracked - Survival Experience
Disturbing… Intense… Mental… Sickening… Crazy… These are a few words used by the survivors of the first group to go through the full run through of Cracked Survival Experience, the UK’s most extreme 6 hour psychological challenge and experiment. Created by Blake Ciccone, Darren Smith and Rosalie Woodward, the premise is simple, 10 contestants will be put through a number of “games” and eliminated one by one until the last one standing. The best way to describe the event is a cross between the horror series “Saw” and an endurance event.
Social media played a big part in the build up to the event with a “Players Page” set up on Facebook where players were added once they have purchased a ticket. This enabled fellow players to interact and get to know each other and share their thoughts and ideas about what to expect from the event. Daily questions were asked by the Cracked Team as they gathered intelligence on their “subjects”, getting to know them and their fears.
The event itself is an emotional rollercoaster, it is definitely not for the faint hearted! Right from the start we were thrown into the chaos of Cracked and it did not let up. Our feelings while we were escorted to the secret location were mixed with excitement, anticipation and pure fear of what was going to happen for the next 6 hours and we wondered if we would indeed “Crack” before the end of the experience.
The games vary from physical and mental challenges to downright disgusting tasks, and once you are eliminated from the games the nightmare has only begun as you are then transported to various different experiments which you are subjected to for the remainder of the experience. The Cracked Team have worked hard to ensure an unforgettable experience for their guests, and we can confirm that this experience definitely got under our skin.
In our group all the players “cracked” and said the safe word (including us!) apart from two that managed to make it all the way through. There are so many different fears preyed upon during the experience that it is unsurprising that the majority of players “cracked”. The team did a great job of getting inside the minds of the players, leaving us confused, scared, and uncertain as to what was happening throughout the experience.
Having experienced other extreme attractions like Project Fear and Scare Kingdom’s Psychomanteum, we found Cracked difficult to compare as there is nothing else like it in the UK. It is unique and by far the most extreme scare attraction that we have been through (and we have done a lot of scare attractions!). We would recommend this attraction to those with a strong stomach and strong mind, and even then there is a high possibility that you will crack! Well done to the Team at Cracked, they have set the bar high in the extreme scare attraction arena and I look forward to seeing what’s next from them.

Scary - Cracked was really great first one I have been to and really enjoyed it. It was great for money. Cheers for the night cracked see you hopefully next year - Jack
This is a completely unique experience like no other that I have visited before. From the moment I was added to the players page the games and hype for the whole event began, The lack of information that you or not given should I say all adds to the fear of this event. This is not just like a really scary walk throw there are many different elements used within the whole event. Well worth a visit to a very unique event.
Don't want to give much away but would say to any visitors :
1, make sure you wrap up warm
2, make sure you have a strong stomach
3, be prepared to be pushed to some of your limits
4, don't trust no one
5, for a more intense experience just go along with everything and make sure you answer all your questions

Very scary - I was travelling quite a long way to experience Cracked and it was so much worth it! It ended up being a little less scary than I thought it would be but the overall experience was nothing short of amazing. The whole event was extremely well organized, from the pick up before the event (which was a real treat by the way) to the drop off after the event.
The whole experience was very physical, demanding and pushed me to my limits more than once. The games us contestants played were clever and ranged from physical activities to challenges where staying calm and relaxed was the most important thing.
Disgusting, rewarding, challenging and extreme in so many ways...it's really hard to describe Cracked, I guess you really have to experience it to know what it is all about. I went through a lot of emotions throughout the event and had to tell myself that giving up is not an option whatever happens.
I never gave up even though I was put in quite a few physically and mentally uncomfortable situations, especially towards the very end when I had to keep reminding myself that it's all just a game...there was a short moment where I had my doubts and it all felt very real which was great!
The whole team put a lot of effort into Cracked to make this a unique experience and they truly succeeded. From building the anticipation through social media until the actual event, it really was a blast and I would love to do it again.

More like I'm a celebrity get me out of hear challenges rather than psychological horror there were some good points but a lot of work needed to make it the UKs most psychological experience unless you are very fit you are wasting your time and if you can't endure being extremely cold with water and weather I wouldn't waste your time I was not psychologically frightened I was physically freezing and aching in pain from the physical activity the team were very nice and welcoming but not for me looking for a psychological horror like films I have seen not a boot camp
Terrifying - Wow. Where to start.. I was dragged kicking and screaming through my 6 hours of hell also known as cracked on the 17th April, nearly a week later it is safe to say I am still not mentally or physically recovered.. yet strangly upset it is all over. Cracked did what it said on the tin.. It very nearly broke me as a person at certain points, there was times I was begin to go home and others I was hysterically laughing. Cracked takes you out of your comfort zone from the moment you are picked up to the moment you are dropped off, I can honestly say I felt truly helpless for he duration and the fact I had no idea how much time had passed and what laid ahead it made for a truly nerve shredding terrifying experience..Nothing can quite prepare you for the slap up meal you will be provided with or the physical and mental exhaustion you will endure!!! Round of applause for the creators they definatly went beyond my expectations and have set he bar very high for UK horror attractions.. If your feeling brave and think you have a strong stomach then good luck to all who enter.
Scary - Being in the first group to go through was both incredibly exciting yet equally nerve wracking. None of us knew what to expect at all. Going in blind - quite literally - really made this experience for me.
With this being my first event of this kind I honestly didn't expect to get far at all. In fact during the first game of the night I very nearly quit right then and there - we really were thrown into the deep end with that one! But with a mix of hard work, pure luck and willpower I cracked on - no pun intended - and ended up coming second!
The games themselves ranged from being very physically demanding, highly uncomfortable, plain revolting and mentally challenging - my imagination got the better of me a few times.
I will not tell you about the point in which I cracked, all I will say is that after hours of constant activity I was both physically and mentally drained and went into panic mode. I had been broken down bit by bit.
Blake, Darren and Rosalie did a fantastic job at putting the whole evening together. Hard work pays off! The actors were brilliant, the location was perfect and the smells and sounds just made everything that little bit better.
I got back to the hotel feeling confused, disoriented, exhausted, freezing, battered and bruised - but with so much adrenaline coursing through me I felt like I could take on the world! All in all I had an amazing evening which I will remember for a very long time. Roll on cracked 2 ✌️
I am Blake, we are Blake

Scary -Entertainment value worth its wait in gold! Great experience to do with a group of mates or on your own! Either way it's messy, in your face and just a little bit smelly!
Terrifying - Bloody Brutal. Six hours of the most terrifying experiences you can imagine. Take your top ten horror movies, and roll them all up into one real life experience. Took two hours just to clean off afterwards!
Terrifying - When I first heard about cracked I jumped at the opportunity. Having attended various scare attractions both in the uk and America I had found all involved theatrics and jump scares, none of which truly put me out of my comfort zone.
The dedicated cracked players group is something I have never been involved with before and can honestly say it really boosts the whole experience before and after the event.
The pick up really set the tone for the whole evening and the mode of transportation was totally unexpected, exciting but terrifying!!!!
The games that I was involved in before being eliminated were challenging both physically and mentally and had to use all my will power not to say the safe word there and then.
The experiments were more theatrical but still involved things I never expected to go through.
As a first for its creator and the UK I feel certain tasks were a bit ropey and at times it was taken a little to extreme for what should have been allowed and for me that is when I did question the situation. With a few more controls and actors being a bit more aware of the delegates reactions this could easily be resolved in the future.
All in all a great first experience and something that no publicity or advertising can really prepare you for. There are a lot of similarities to Mckamey manor but at the same time it is very different, maybe you could call it the UK equivilant?
The actors really made me feel out of my comfort zone and brought out raw emotions which I didn't think I had.
To improve the attraction I feel more of an immersive storyline could have been put in place as at times it literally was torture for the sake of it, however you cannot get away from the fact there is nothing that you can compare cracked to in the uk.
If it comes back for a second round I will definitely consider re attending.
NOTE!!!- It was far more extreme and physical than you think so think very hard before booking, can you handle it!!!!

Very scary - An absolutely mind blowing event. I don't scare easily at all and this place did it for me, it was very physical and it touched upon the psychological a bit too. I expected a lot more mind games but it was an incredible experiance none the less... Thankyou folks for such an unforgettable and incredible night. I will always come back to Cracked.
Very scary - the build up was great via a Facebook group page where we could interact with fellow contestants. Well as the date grew nearer my nerves grew bigger. And I was right to be nervous from start to finish I went through every emotion possible, without giving to much away it would say to people intrested to give cracked 2 a chance, it definitely will be attending. The group size of 20 was perfect, the actors were on point, an on site photographer who captured every single emotion was great. Physical mental, wet, smelly, disgusting, challenging, tiring, oh my hod it can't wait for blake and his team of truly professional people to come up with another experience. Sarge we all love you really. Bring on cracked 2, and beyond. Those who missed out on cracked, don't make the same mistake again
Terrifying - My journeys begin from Kuwait to enter the walls of Cracked-survival experience UK. I, entered the mind of Blake Ciccone the creator of Cracked-survival experience with his assistants Rosalie Woodard, and Darren Smith which helped him in creating the experience. On April 25, 2015 my tour began. The emotions that I was feeling were of fear, excitement, and the uncertain of entering the unknown. The 6hrs of hell were brutal, rough, wet, and being cold. While you are inside Cracked, you are tested psychology and physically to your breaking point, until you are cracked. Of course that is the goal.
The overall experience was brilliant on every level. Actors are amazing. When Cracked 2 is up, and running will be back.. Have too see if they can make me crack. Again, you all amazing the Cracked-survival experience team and crew..

Terrifying - Scary but not in the traditional sense. This is brutal and definitely not for those who don't think they can.
Terrifying - Like a living hell
