Discover Caine, Overnight Paranormal Experience
Having missed PUP's attraction "Caine, Who Am I?" earlier in the year, I had to go and attend this one. Upon arriving at the National Emergency Services Museum in Sheffield, we had a meet and greet with Lee, Sarah and the local Paranormal group Adam and Lucy and we had a brief on the night ahead.
We started off conducting a ghost hunt within the building and we came across many strange and on one occasion, terrifying phenomena. After the ghost hunt which ended at around 2am, we all grouped together to enjoy the rest of the night watching horror movies in peace. At least that's what we thought, when we started seeing figures pass by the doorway and one by one, the spirits of the building started picking us out of the safety of our room to undertake tasks in various parts of the building, many of which were terrifying to the point of my dropping to the floor.
After each member of the group had been exposed to the horrors, we were then split into two teams to play a game of hide and seek to retrieve items from the spirits. Although to be fair, Hide and Seek should actually be, Hide and get the bejesus scared out of you.
All in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable night, great hosts and amazing actors to provide many memorable and terrifying scares.

After previously visiting Caine who am I? I was invited to an overnight event called Discover Caine by Primrose Unknown Projects. Advertised as a paranormal investigation, we started off with a tour of the areas we would be investigating followed by health and safety briefing. At around 9pm we started off in 1 of the bedrooms on the 2nd floor. This already had a eerie feel about it though and as we pursued we slowly started hearing things and feeling unnerved. This happened in several areas, and by around 11:30 pm we got to Caine's cell, where it just felt scary just being in there. Different groups had different experiences here and by 12:30 pm we got the chance to go off exploring in our own small groups,
We decided to check out the top floor where the train area was which was 1 of the darkest and scariest areas, after some time we got little bits we found through recording but whilst listening to a recording we heard a knock on a fire door next to us which we were told was a dead end. We asked if a spirit wanted us to leave please knock again, no more than a few seconds later we heard 1 clear loud knock, freaked out we ran as fast as we could!,We had confirmation that no one was behind that door as it was never opened and no one could go through it, Definitely very freaky!
By early morning it was time to watch some films before we could go and explore again as we were told it was witching hour in the building. During that time we saw a girl continuously running past the doorway, this point we were all on edge, at some point later we were taken by different people which turned out to be characters from Caine to different parts of the building and we were each all extremely scared.
All in all it was one of the most terrifying experiences I've had, definitely the most scary overnight event by far. The scariest part for me was 1 of the actors took me to Caines cell, and left me. After being in the cell in pitch black silence for 5 minutes, I was so terrified I had to put the torch on my phone. I couldn't last any longer, so she returned and as she escorted me back to the stairs i was chased by someone,
I would highly recommend this event to anyone that building is scary as hell and the way it was all done was incredibly clever with the films being an elaborate ploy after the real investigations at the start of the night. Definitley a 10/10 both for fear rating and event rating.

This was an amazing experience, for the first time ever I was terrified and
refused to let people go. The 11 hours I was there for seemed to pass like a
matter of minutes. I paid £30 for this but would have happily paid much more.
The night included a paranormal investigation of an old haunted museum, dinner, horror films, games and activities with amazing actors. As the museum was pitch black we used torches to navigate and at times sat in complete darkness. The activities with actors were great and highly amusing listening to the men of our group screaming and running.
I will definitely be going to another event like this, it has opened my eyes to the world of scare events!
