Twins of Evil
Twins of Evil's latest attraction was a twisted vision of the Wizard of Oz. The team have taken well-known characters and situations from the beloved movie and turned them into a terrifying experience that we genuinely were not expecting.
Built inside an old chapel, the location was spooky enough, but the team transformed the whole building into something much different. The scenes and set pieces all created a real feeling of being in the Land of Oz, including a simulated twister opening, a yellow brick road and more. The scenes and characters were all immediately recognisable. Which in itself was freaky - these people are supposed to be friendly and not attacking us!!
We certainly jumped, screamed and laughed in equal measures as these lovable characters were overcome with a zombie style virus and the final scene left us desperate to escape. Every actor we met along the way from Aunt May at the beginning through to the Palace guards at the end, threw themselves into their roles and we had some genuine scares throughout.
Well done to everyone involved in creating Apocalyptic Oz. For a small independent production company, they have created a professional and scary experience, and we are so glad we made a detour off the beaten track to experience it!
