PrimEVIL at Norfolk Dinosaur Park

Earlier this year, Norfolk Dinosaur Park invited me to help them create a new event and brand for their Halloween product that would target a slightly older and more thrill seeking audience. Over the last few months I have been working closely on designs and stories, and this came to fruition on Saturday night, when the first paying members of the public visited PrimEVIL. Although this event has been completelty built and operated by Norfolk Dinosaur Park themselves, the ideas and concepts came from me. As such it would be completely unethical for me to review the event and remain unbiased.

But that doesn't stop me promoting it to all you scare fans out there!

Insanitorium

Picture
Built in an unfinished warehouse building, The Insaitorium can be seen and heard across the whole theme Park.  The pumping soundtrack and flashing strobes create a terrifying vision and on opening night MANY guests were to scared to even enter!

Inside, the Insanitorium is populated by the craziest bunch of inmates who torment and torture anyone who dares to step into their world!

The Maze of Mutants

Picture
Hidden in a pitch dark wood full of dead ends and wrong turns, a crazy family have taken shelter from the outside world. But this is no ordinary family. This is a very "close" family (sometimes dangerously close) and they dont take kindly to strangers.

Guests are invited to brave the woods and try to find a way out alive, but the journey ahead is long and dark and there are many surprises waiting. After all - the family have to eat somehow......

Aint this just the purtiest family photo evah?

To reveal any more would give the game away!

DinoHaunts

Picture
The theme park's first scare attraction is aimed more at the family audience but still contains many scares along its 30 minute walk. Death has come to Norfolk and is harvesting the screams of innocent victime to power a gateway directly to the underworld. Guests are challenged to make it through the walk without  screaming which isnt easy as over 25 of Death's monsters are waiting amongst the dinosaurs along with explosive effects, special  lighting and sound effects!

Other highlights
