Evac
Primrose Unknown projects return to the Emergency Services Museum in Sheffield this Halloween with their latest attraction, EVAC. With a location perfect for scares we were eager to see what the team had in store for us this time.
We entered Evac via a long and unnervingly dark corridor only to be chased from the outset by a disturbingly fast paced creature, a great way to hit us with an impact straight away. We stumbled deeper into the museum, nervously peering around the old police cars and fire engines. We were told it was time to evacuate, we had to get out! We were handed a small bag and told that we would need it to escape the museum and the creatures that live within.
We navigated our way around the authentic museum, only to be greeted by terrifying demonic/possessed creatures that appeared from every hiding place imaginable. With a little help from other trapped civilians trying to Evac the building, it was time for our final sprint. In order to evacuate we had to make it to the exit on the other side of the museum. As we leapt into action, what felt like dozens of creatures came to deter us from our route by giving us some perfectly executed impact scares from every level imaginable, under cars, on top of police vans and even inside a fire engine!
Just when we thought we made it to safety, it was time to eventually evacuate to freedom, but then we were told to open our bag. Inside held three tokens, each token granted access to the EVAC exit. With four people in our group, we panicked that one of us would be left behind. Three of us ran to safety where as one unfortunate soul was left to the creatures within! We really enjoyed this smart ending and was nice to see something different that worked well to heighten the fear factor of and already intense finale.
The attraction boasted a perfect location with an extremely enthusiastic cast. The team used the museum to their full advantage and didn't fail to deliver exceptionally high quality scares. The PUP team have once again proved that they can provide outstanding attractions that are worth a visit every time.

We visted Evac on Wednesday 29th of October 2014.
Being a haunted place anyway, the Sheffield Emergency Museum is a great location for a Scare Attraction, the story of the attraction is great and uses the location really well.
The actors were great and really helped to immerse us in the story and with a little twist at the end, Evac is a great scare attraction.
Thanks guys.

Situated in Sheffield's National Emergency Services Museum, EVAC is an amazing scare maze. With the building already having a haunted history, the excitement was building before we set foot inside.
Groups are pulsed through this attraction which helps amp up the feeling of isolation. After a health & safety talk you are released into the museum to find your way through the banks of fog and creatures that roam, grab, scream, snort and stroke you. Survivors leap out and help you, I was separated from my family briefly, and just when you think it might never end, it does.
The maze took us around 10 minutes to get through, the scareactors were amazing and on occasion rather creepy - 30 seconds in I was shrieking!
This was a great experience, really good value for money and excellently produced. I will be back year after year!
