The Basement - Escape Time Burton
Halloween season does not mean the team just wait around for evening scares. We also visit events open during the day and these include horror themed escape rooms, and so while in Burton we went along to visit Escape Times’s latest room, The Basement.
Themed in a haunted house basement, the team had to release evil spirits from the house or accept the consequences. Once inside, the scares started almost immediately, with the team huddled within a corner of the room. The puzzles were innovative and a lot of fun, we were so engrossed in one that we didn’t even realise one of the spirits have joined us in the room!
Our host Bailey dealt with the interaction of our group in so many different ways, it was hard to believe he was the only host we had. This game has an advisory rating of 16+ and would be enjoyed by anyone not just wanting to visit an extra Halloween attraction, but one that could be enjoyed all year round.
We look forward to visiting again and experiencing another of Escape Time’s rooms.
