All Hallows Ghost Walk
"All Hallows Returns! The madness is back as the league of living impaired tour guides, kidnap and force one of our own terror trail guides to take a tour for them. Expect laughter, blood, gore and an extremely suspect catapult." So reads the promotion for the latest tour from Nightshade Productions, the team behind the ghost walk element of GNG's All Hallows event last October
As is the usual trait, we gather round at the front of the legendary most haunted pub The Golden Fleece where we are soon meet with four skeletons who do not speak English but Bonese (a sort of grunt and groan like a chimpanzee!)
Once checked in we are taken to our first destination where we find a young man tied up with a bag over his head. After a serious amount of poking and teasing him, the bag is removed revealing our tour guide for the evening... in his pyjamas and slippers! From this surreal starting point our tour commences and our poor tour guide stops at various locations to tell us the stories of York's blood thirsty history with the help of the four skeletons. During the show we are met with jump scares, water bombs and cheesy jokes and the whole tour was thoroughly entertaining.
Tours are just £6 a ticket and will run everyday until November 3rd
