Coming Soon - Buckingham Palace Scare Attraction
ScareTOUR is proud to announce that over the last few months we have been in top secret discussions and negotiations with representatives of the Royal Family to help them achieve their ambition of turning Buckingham Palace into a week long scare attraction in 2013.
Interest in the idea arose when His Royal Highness Prince William and his wife Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge recently visited the Nightmares Fear Factory while on their state visit to Canada after last year's Royal Wedding. Both William and Catherine had so much fun being scared that they immediately invited Prince Harry to join their planning team back in the UK.
While his newly married brother was away, Harry was working closely with royal aides and staff to find the best way to approach his grandmother, the Queen to allow such an event to go ahead. As it is, access to the Palace has been available to members of the public for a number of years and as such, the Palace is used to the security that needs to be put in place for such an event. Guests will only be allowed to visit certain state rooms and although no members of the Royal Family are expected to be present, strict security will be in place throughout each visit.
As many people know , the Royal Family have a habit of sneaking out of the palace incognito and it is believed that all the younger Royals already have a love for being scared. In fact, last week, Eugenie and Beatrice were recently spotted running out of Death Trap on London's South Bank with their bodyguards, whilst Prince Charles and Camilla were sighted outside the London Tombs waiting for Harry to go through a second time.
The new attraction will use many public rooms across the Palace and will combine the UK's wildest royal history with stories of real ghosts and experiences that even Her Majesty The Queen has been witness to during her time at the palace.
ScareTOUR have been working closely with the Palace over the last few months and is only now able to fully confirm this show. Further details will be available soon but in the mean time - please contact ScareTOUR for any questions.
The show is expected to open on April 1st 2013
