Mr X - Escape Rooms Durham

Although it's not scary in any way, Mr X is a free online puzzle game and treasure hunt by the team behind Escape Rooms Durham.

Instead of relying on cunning and intelligence to solve the puzzles, Google maps was our friend in this challenge, and is in fact required, as many of the puzzles involve an observation taken from Street view or via the overhead maps on the app.

The game involves a series of clues that lead you across the globe, and online hints are available if you are really stuck. We found the puzzles ranged from easy to hard and we enjoyed the search elements once we had found each location. We completed the game in about 30 minutes -we think (we forgot to officially time ourselves!)

The game is available for free on their website, but the venue request if you enjoy the game, to leave a donation towards their staff welfare during this difficult time for small businesses.
