A Haunting at the Kingsgate

Within the Kingsgate shopping center in Dunfermline, Fife  Haunted Events - have made perfect use of an empty shop unit.  The space has been totally transformed, to create a labyrinth of winding corridors where we were left guessing what was around the next corner... or what was creeping up behind us!

In a novel twist to the usual rules of banning phones in a scare attraction, The Haunting at the Kingsgate positively encouraged it to light the way.  After all - it saves them the fortune of lighting the whole area! But the  perfect set design of the corridors, gave us the feeling that we were are an urban explorer navigating our way through a haunted house. The winding and twisted corridors led us to different and unique areas, where the actors had no problems in scaring our group! Ironically, we had just got used to using our phones for a light source, before we were promptly asked to extinguish them before heading into the finale.

The Haunting at the Kingsgate is certainly a welcome scare attraction, and especially breathes life into a region of the UK where scare attractions are sparce. Even after the scares, we were able to take our time and look around the mini museum with film memorabilia.
