Forbidden Corner Review
It’s been many years since we last visited Forbidden Corner, and a number of new tunnels and areas have been added to this unique folly style attraction that really does defy explanation.
Once inside – guests are left to explore a labyrinth of pathways and underground passages, never quite knowing what would be around the next corner. With scenes ranging from the creepy through to magical whimsy – the whole experience is a intriguing exploration that can easily leave you lost and astounded in equal measures.
For Forbidden Fright Nights, the free roaming element had to be removed and, on our daytime, visit we could see obvious signs where roper were ready to be slung between trees to create one full pathway. There were also a large number of Halloween props scattered around the site that would probably have added great atmosphere in the dark.
And then of course in the evening there would be live actors in the attraction, and with SO many spots for actors to hide in the dark, we can only imagine how terrifying the event would have been. Sadly it only ran a few nights through the season and as a last minute attraction to the UK line up – we had already planned our Halloween itinerary and so were force to miss it. But from the reports and reviews we have read, we really missed something great, and we hope it returns in 2025 so we can experience it for ourselves!
